Calvin Zinda signs tender agreement

May 2, 2025

Wausau, WI – The Cyclones have signed defenseman Calvin Zinda to 2025-26 season tender agreement. Zinda spent his high school hockey career with Neenah/Hortonville/Menasha. During his senior season he scored 11 goals and had 33 assists in 24 games. Zinda is a two-time first team All-State defenseman, Badgerland Conference Player of the Year and Division 1 Joe Piskula award finalist for Top Defenseman in Wisconsin.

“Calvin had an extraordinary high school career and we can’t wait to see what he can do at the next level. His hockey IQ is off the charts, and his edge work makes him and exceptional skater.  His stick position while defending makes him a tough player to attack off the rush and will force players to get rid of pucks faster than they probably want to. Calvin will add an offensive scoring threat from the back end and can join the rush with the best defensemen in the league. We are thrilled to have him in a Cyclones jersey,” stated Head Coach/GM of Hockey Operations Nathan Oystrick.
