Matthew Witt commits to Ohio University

Wausau, WI – The Wausau Cyclones are proud to announce that forward Matthew Witt has committed to play Division 1 (ACHA) college hockey at Ohio University. Witt, a native of Midland, Michigan played in 49 games this past season where he scored five goals and contributed nine assists. Over his two seasons in Wausau, Witt played in 90 games and had 10 goals along with 18 assists.

“We are very proud of Matthew and couldn’t be more excited for him. Matthew earned this opportunity through his consistent play, hard work and by being a tremendous teammate on and off the ice. We look forward to watching his continued growth at Ohio and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him, ” stated Head Coach Nathan Oystrick.
