Weekend Preview January 10-11 at Minnesota Wilderness

Jan 7, 2025

(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones face the Minnesota Wilderness this weekend in the final non-divisional games of the regular season Puck drops at 7:05pm on Friday and 6:05pm Saturday from the Hippodrome on NAHLTV. The Cyclones are currently in 3rd place in the Central Division with an 19-9-2-1 record, while Minnesota comes into action Friday night 12-16-2-1, which puts them in last place in the West Division. Wausau is just two points out of 2nd place and three points out of first with 16 regular season games remaining. Just four of the 16 games will be played away from Marathon Park.

Player to Watch

Cyclones forward Jake Garrow has been offensive weapon all season long and after his two goals at Rochester he is now tied for 5th in the NA3HL in goals (23). Garrow has failed to net a point in just six of his 28 games played this season. Wausau will certainly be leaning on his continued production as the race for the playoffs continues this weekend.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to start Tanner Bonjernoor and Dereck Namlick in net this weekend. Bonjernoor has a 2.46 GAA and .913 save percentage in 17 games. Namlick sports a 3.08 GAA and .905 save percentage in 10 games.
