Weekend Preview vs Tomah

(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones take on the Wisconsin Woodsmen this weekend at Tomah Ice Center. Puck drops at 7:30pm Friday and Saturday and streams on NAHLTV. Wausau enters the weekend with an 14-5-0-0 record, which is good for 2nd place in the Central Division and fourth place Wisconsin enters the weekend with a 9-5-1-1 record. Wausau is currently five points behind first place West Bend.

What to Watch For

The Cyclones have been one of the hottest teams in the entire NA3HL. Wausau has won 12 of their last 14 games dating back to October 6th. On the home ice the Clones have scored 44 goals, which averages out to 5.5 per home game. In net the team has allowed just 11 goals in eight home games. Look for the Cyclones to build upon that success with them on the road this weekend in Tomah. 

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to start Collin Lemanski and Tanner Bonjernoor in net this weekend. Lemanski has a 1.92 GAA and .943 save percentage in 13 games. His record is currently 11-2 this year and the eleven wins leads the league. Bonjernoor sports a 2.40 GAA.
