St. Louis Weekend Preview

(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones are set to take on the St. Louis Jr. Blues this Friday at 7:40pm and Saturday night at 5:00pm on NAHLTV. Wausau comes off a solid 4-1 win at Tomah. St. Louis was swept by Peoria last weekend by the score of 8-3 and 5-3. Wausau put together a balanced offensive action last weekend as four players netted goals including first career junior goals for John Kriz and Anderson Brien.

What to Watch For

After winning six of the eight matchups last season Wausau will seek to continue their dominance over the Jr. Blues. Watch for how the Cyclones rookie forwards contribute this weekend as a deep group will be extremely important moving forward this season. St. Louis forward Connor Westbrock is a player to watch this weekend. Westbrock netted two goals and had two assists last weekend.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to start Collin Lemanski in net this weekend. Lemanski put together a solid first outing at Tomah by allowing only one goal on 33 shots.
