Weekend Preview November 1-2

(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones face the Rochester Grizzlies for the first time this season Friday night. Rochester is back as a Central Division opponent after being in the West Division last season. Puck drops at 7:05pm on Friday and Saturday from the Rochester Rec Center. The Cyclones remain in 1st place position after splitting with West Bend. Rochester comes off being swept at Tomah last weekend. Wausau enters the weekend with an 11-1-1-0 record, while Rochester comes into action Friday night 7-4-1-0, which puts them in 3rd place in the Central Division.

Player to Watch

Cyclones forward Connor Dvorak had an outstanding month of October that saw him net six goals and contribute 11 assists. The 17 points led the team after having just four points in five September games. 

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to start Tanner Bonjernoor and Dereck Namlick in net this weekend. Bonjernoor has a 2.25 GAA and .914 save percentage in eight games. Namlick sports a 1.72 GAA and .943 save percentage. Bonjernoor is 4th in the NA3HL with seven wins this season.
