RiverWolves Lose 6-3 Against La Crosse Freeze

(Wausau, WI)- The Wausau Riverwolves took on the La Crosse Freeze for the 4th consecutive matchup between the two teams at Marathon Park.  Three different Riverwolves players were able to get on the score sheet in the 6 to 3 loss.

The Riverwolves scored their first goal at the 15:57 mark of the first period.  Scoring first was Janne Rukamp, assisted by Sean Johnston and Santana Pinkert.  The next Riverwolves goal came with 25 seconds left in the 2nd period.  Garrett Alton was credited for the goal and the assist going to Austin Burgener.  Matt Irwin added a late goal in the 3rd period at the 8:43 mark which was unassisted. Goalie Henry Baribeau had a total of 53 saves on night.

The Wausau Riverwolves next home game is Friday November 10th against the La Crosse Freeze for a 7:05 pm puck drop.
