Wausau, WI – The Wausau Cyclones are pleased to announce that forward Brandon Piwko has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey at Waldorf University   Piwko, a native of Lake Orion, Michigan played in 41 games this past season and netted 7 goals while contributing 3 assists.

“We are extremely excited for, and proud of Brandon as he continues his hockey journey at the collegiate level. Brandon was a big part of the Wausau Cyclones over the last three seasons, and we are going to miss him, his personality, and his play this coming season. Brandon and I grew up as Cyclones together. We both arrived at the same time and watching him grow as a human being was a pleasure. He made the long days fun at the rink, and his teammates really enjoyed being around him. He showed up to the arena every morning committed to getting better and being a great teammate. Brandon played a hard-nosed style of hockey and was always a reliable player who we knew was going to give us his best in every game. He wore the Cyclones jersey with pride in every game. We wish Brandon all the best and we look forward to watching him as he continues his journey at Waldorf University,” stated Head Coach Luke Meyer.
