Oregon Weekend Preview

Sep 27, 2023

(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones are set to take on the Oregon Tradesmen this Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm on NAHLTV. Wausau comes off a series split in St. Louis, which moved their record to 2-1-0-0. Oregon enters the weekend with a 1-1-0-0 record. The Tradesmen come into the weekend fully rested as they were off last weekend.

What to Watch For

After an impressive 3rd period last Friday that saw Wausau score six goals the team was only able to find the back of the net once versus the previously winless St. Louis Jr. Blues in game 2. Looking for more scoring punch this weekend Wausau will certainly have several different options to look at. The Clones have eight different players score the team’s twelve goals this season.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to start Collin Lemanski and Tanner Bonjernoor in net this weekend. Lemanski earned the win last Friday night in a 8-2 win at St. Louis. Bonjernoor took the loss last Saturday after allowing three goals on just 26 shots.
