Clones sign forward Nate Spencer

Apr 14, 2026

Wausau, WI – The Cyclones have signed forward Nate Spencer to 2026-27 season tender agreement. Spencer spent his high school hockey career with Regis/Altoona/McDonnell. During his high school career the Fall Creek, Wisconsin native scored 57 goals and had 62 assists in 74 games.

“Nate is a player who plays extremely hard. He competes on every single puck, is great on the forecheck and adds high-end puck skills with a willingness to take pucks hard to the net with his feet. He sees the ice well, has a high hockey IQ, and all his past coaches speak very highly of him. Nate is recovering from a broken bone which cut his high school season short, but we can’t wait to see him play at Marathon Park next season, creating havoc with his competitiveness and hatred of losing,” stated Head Coach/GM of Hockey Operations Nathan Oystrick.
