Wausau adds forward from Illinois

Apr 9, 2026

Wausau, WI – The Cyclones have signed forward Brayden Myers to 2026-27 season tender agreement. Myers, a native of Joliet, Illinois comes to Wausau after playing for the Chicago Hawks 18U AA program. Last season he put up 5 goals and had 13 assists in 24 games. Myers also served as the team captain.

“Brayden is a high character player, with leadership qualities that we are excited about. He brings a high hockey IQ with grit, scoring, and sandpaper to our team. He hates losing and loves going to the net and being a thorn in the opposing team’s side. We can’t wait to see his style of game in a Wausau Cyclones jersey next season,” stated Head Coach/GM of Hockey Operations Nathan Oystrick.
