Wausau, WI – The Cyclones have signed defenseman Luke Honkomp from South Dakota to 2025-26 season tender agreement. Honkomp spent his high school hockey career with Brookings High School. During his senior season he scored 11 goals and had 43 assists in 22 games.
“Luke had memorable high school hockey career. Averaging twp points per game as a defenseman for his entire career. With offensive stats like that, it was hard for us to not give him a look, and we loved what we saw. We see Luke as an offensive threat that can defend with his quick feet and active stick in the defensive zone. We can’t wait to have Luke be a Cyclone,” stated Head Coach/GM of Hockey Operations Nathan Oystrick.
