(Wausau, WI)- The Wausau Cyclones participated in the 2024 NA3HL Draft today as they build their roster for the 2024-25 season. Wausau selected forward Landon Bechtolt from Centerville, Ohio with their 1st round pick, 30th overall. In the 3rd round Wausau selected defenseman Dylan Byrne who comes to Wausau from Eau Claire Memorial. Closing out the draft the Cyclones took forward Mason Johnson from Chippewa Falls high school. Dylan Byrne was named to the All State First Team during the 2023-24 season as voted by the WCHA. Mason Johnson was named to the All State Second Team during his senior season. Below is a summary of the Cyclones 2024 draft selections with their 2023-24 season stats.

Round 1, 30th Overall

Landon Bechtolt | Forward | Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights | Centerville, Ohio

2023-24 Season Stats: 16 goals and 19 assists in 46 games.

Round 3, 102nd Overall

Dylan Byrne | Defenseman| Eau Claire Memorial High School | Eau Claire, Wisconsin

2023-24 Season Stats: 15 goals and 18 assists in 23 games.

Round 4, 132nd Overall

Mason Johnson | Forward | Chippewa Falls High School | Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin

2023-24 Season Stats: 21 goals and 25 assists in 24 games.
