(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones face the West Bend Power Friday night at 7:10pm from Marathon Park on NAHLTV. Wausau currently trails the season series 3-1, with the first four games having all been played in West Bend. After another off-weekend Wausau dropped to 2nd place in the Central Division by one point. The good news is Wausau has played three less games than first-place West Bend. The Power are coming off a series spilt versus Alexandria last weekend. West Bend is currently 16-7-1-0 record.
What to Watch
Wausau has played the 2nd fewest home games (7) in the NA3HL to date this season. Including Friday, Wausau will have the benefit of playing 15 of their final 23 regular season games on home ice. Meanwhile, West Bend has just 8 home games during their final 21 regular season games.
Between the Pipes
Wausau is expected to start Tanner Bonjernoor in net Friday. Bonjernoor has a 2.33 GAA and .918 save percentage in 12 games. Wausau has allowed just 51 goals this season, which ranks 4th in the NA3HL.
