Wausau, WI – The Cyclones have signed defenseman Leighton Buckmeier to 2024-2025 season tender agreement. Buckmeier spent his high school hockey career with Fergus Falls HS. During his senior season he scored 4 goals and had 15 assists in 27 games as the team captain.
“Leighton wore a “C” at Fergus Falls and his skating and ability to defend the rush will instantly elevate our back end next year. We can’t wait to get him in a cyclone jersey,” stated Head Coach/GM of Hockey Operations Nathan Oystrick.
