(WAUSAU, WI)- Wausau will conclude the longest road stretch of the season Friday night in Appleton as Wausau visits the Fox Cities Forge. The Clones will begin the home slate with the home opener Saturday night as the first 500 fans receive a schedule magnet giveaway presented by Cloverbelt Credit Union. Wausau holds a 1-4-1-0 record and Fox Cities will be playing their first game of their season. Puck drops at 7:30pm on Friday and 7:10pm on Saturday night. What to Watch For
Forward Jackson Maddock has been a bright spot in an otherwise rough start to the season. His eight points leads the team and ranks 15th in the entire league to date.
Between the Pipes
Wausau is projected to split time between Draven Wirth and Gavon Norton in net this weekend. Wirth has a 4.95 GAA and .857 save percentage Norton sports 3.96 GAA and .896 save percentage
