(WAUSAU, WI)- The RiverWolves host Central Division foe in the Coulee Region Chill Friday night at Marathon Park Ice Arena. The two teams have split a pair of games so far this season. Wausau defeated the defending Central Division champions October 11th by a score of 4-2 and fell by a 4-0 final on October 25th in La Crosse. Heading into Friday night’s contest Wausau holds a 3-13-1 record, while Coulee Region has a  12-7-0-0 record this season.

What to Watch For

Wausau will be seeking a bounce back performance from their starting goaltender Tyler Klatt. Klatt struggled last Friday night versus Peoria before eventually being pulled. He did put up together two solid periods versus a high powered Peoria Mustang attack on Saturday night. RiverWolves forward Kasey Couture has taken over the top goal scoring spot for the team. Five of his seven goals have come inside the friendly confines of Marathon Park Ice Arena.

The Chill are led by forward Parker Severson who has 30 total points  (10 G, 20 A). Jacob Best and Marco Escobar have 29 and 26 points respectfully. Coulee Region is coming off a 9-2 loss last night on their home ice to the Rochester Grizzles, which saw Rochester put up 5 goals in the first period.

In the Crease

Tyler Klatt, native of Monticello, Minnesota is expected to start in net for the RiverWolves.  He currently holds a 2-10-1 record with a goals against average of 5.77.  His save percentage is at .886.

The Chill  are expected to have Grosse Point, Michigan native Devin Naidow start in net.  His record for the season is 5-4-0-0 and his save percentage is at .904.  His goals against average is at 3.47. Naidow took the loss last night to Rochester after allowing 4 goals in the first 10 minutes of action.
