(Wausau, WI)- The Wausau RiverWolves took on the La Crosse Freeze at Marathon Park on Friday for the 7th matchup between the two teams.  La Crosse and the RiverWolves are in the Central Division with La Crosse in 2nd place and Wausau currently stands in 5th.

After a dominating win on Friday night at Marathon Park, the RiverWolves took on the La Crosse Freeze and were unable to get the offense going, losing 8-1.  The lone goal by Wausau came from Matt Irwin at the 8:47 mark in the 3rd period.  In goal tonight for the RiverWolves was Henry Baribeau who was able to stop 40 shots.

The Wausau RiverWolves  continue their homestand tomorrow night as they take on the Wisconsin Whalers on for a 7 p.m. puck drop at Marathon Park.
