(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones are set to take on the Peoria Mustangs this Friday and Saturday at 7:10pm from Marathon Park. Both games are available on NAHLTV. Wausau earned a series spilt versus West Bend last weekend, which moved their record to 5-4-0-0. Peoria enters the weekend with a 3-6-1-0 record splitting a series in Tomah.
What to Watch For
Gabe Randel is off to an incredibly hot start to his season. Randel has been on the scoresheet for all but one of the nine games this season. The Fox Valley native had a huge weekend on the home ice that saw him score three goals and contribute four assists. Randel ranks 9th in all of the NA3HL in points per game at 1.78.
Peoria is led by forward Blake Mitchell who has six goals and four assists in eight games.
Between the Pipes
Wausau is expected to start Collin Lemanski in net this weekend. Lemanski stopped 35 of 39 shots last weekend against West Bend. He currently has a 1.71 GAA and .940 save percentage.
