(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones and Alexandria Blizzard will match-up this weekend in an out of division series. Wausau was officially eliminated for postseason contention on Saturday.  Wausau is currently in 5th place in the Central Division with at 13-22-4-0 record. Alexandria enters the weekend in 2nd place in the West Division with a 25-10-0-2 record.

What to Watch For

Cyclones forward Adam Wiggins has quietly put together a very strong stretch of play since the NA3HL Showcase.  In those 14 games he has four goals and eight assists. The 12 points account for 70% of his production this season. Wiggins has netted a goal in four of the last six games.

The Blizzard are led by forward Ryan Hadland. Hadland has 25 goals and 34 assists in 37 games. The two-year NA3HL player was also named to the NA3HL Top Prospect team.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to split the series between Collin Lemanski and Ryan Burke. Lemanski currently has a 2.65 GAA and .918 save percentage. Burke enters the weekend with a 3.40 GAA and .909 save percentage.

The Blizzard are expected to start Alex Lamont and former Cyclone Mitch Miscevich. Miscevich took a loss on Saturday night in his Blizzard debut.
