(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones and Oregon Tradesmen will match-up in their second series this season Friday and Saturday night at Oregon Ice Arena. Wausau enters the weekend looking to snap an eight-game losing streak and get back in the win column for the first time since October 15th. Wausau is currently in 5th place in the Central Division with at 4-9-3-0 record. Oregon enters the weekend 13 points clear of Wausau with a 11-2-1-1 record after sweeping Rochester on their home ice last weekend.

What to Watch For

Keep an eye on the Cyclones scoring in the 1st period this weekend. Only two of the 34 NA3HL teams have scored less in the 1st frame. Wausau has netted just 11 goals and given up 22 in the 1st. Another area of improvement to produce some better results is avoiding going a man down. The Cyclones penalty kill ranks 30 of 34 at just 63.8%.

The Tradesmen are led by forward Nathan Walker. Walker has 6 goals and 12 assists in 15 games. He has just four games where he didn’t get on the score sheet.
