(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones and Peoria Mustangs will match-up for the first time this season Friday and Saturday night at Marathon Park. Wausau enters the weekend looking to snap a six-game losing streak and get back in the win column for the first time since October 15th. Wausau is currently in 5th place in the Central Division with at 4-7-3-0 record. Peoria enters the weekend seven points clear of Wausau with a 9-5-0-0 record.

What to Watch For

The Cyclones are in need of some more offensive fire power going forward. Wausau currently ranks 23rd of the 34 NA3HL teams in scoring with 2.93 goals per game. Wausau also ranks 32nd of 34th teams in shots per game with 27.29.

The Mustangs are led by 3-year NA3HL veteran forward Ethan Chesney. Chesney has 10 goals and 12 assists in 14 games. He has 45% of his season points in his last 4 games played.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to split the series between Mitch Miscevich and Ryan Burke. Miscevich currently has a 4.02 GAA and .885 save percentage. Burke enters the weekend with a 3.21 GAA and .913 save percentage.

The Mustangs are expected to start Joseph Ambroffi and Kason Yamada Yamada has a .897 save percentage and Ambroffi sports a .938.
