(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones begin their second series of the season Friday night at the Affton Ice Rink in St. Louis, Missouri. Wausau will be looking to continue their success versus St. Louis from last year that saw the Clones win seven of eight matchups. St. Louis comes into Friday’s game with a 1-3-0-0 record.

What to Watch For

Watch for Cyclones forward Gage Vierzba to build upon his personal success versus St. Louis last season. He netted five goals in the eight games.

The Jr. Blues are led by forward Brady Burke. Burke has three points in four games on the young season.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to split the series between Mitch Miscevich and Ryan Burke. Miscevich surrendered six goals in the road opener against Rochester. Burke allowed three goals on 30 shots in his first action.

The Jr. Blues are expected to start Ian Zeumer in net both games. Zeumer has a .857 save percentage and 5.45 GAA in three games.
