(Wausau, WI) – The Wausau Cyclones are excited to announce a 5-year lease agreement with the Wausau and Marathon County Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department, which will keep the Cyclones in Marathon County through the 2026-2027 season.

“The Wausau Cyclones call Marathon Park Ice Arena our home and we are thrilled with this new agreement, which solidifies the Cyclones in the greater Central Wisconsin community. We look forward to continuing to build on our success and create partnerships that enhance our goals of being a regional asset for the development of hockey skills, personal growth that enhances players and coaches of all ages and providing entertainment and service to the community we know and love. We’d also like to thank Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry Jamie Polley for her work in helping to make this agreement a reality,” stated Cyclones Hockey Ownership.
