Series Preview vs St. Louis

Nov 25, 2025

(WAUSAU, WI)- Wausau finally will get a chance to play on home ice after 35 days away. Wausau enters the weekend 10-7-0-0 (fourth place) and the Jr. Blues currently hold a 13-6-1-0 record. The Cyclones are coming off a very mixed weekend in Peoria after their most disappointing loss of the season Friday, only to come back and dominate the same team the following night behind a 9-2 win. Wausau begins four consecutive games versus St. Louis, which should provide a good indicator on if the Clones can creep back within reach of 2nd place in the Central Division. Puck drops at 7:10pm on Friday and Saturday on NAHLTV from Marathon Park.

What to Watch For

Wausau has one of the most impressive defensive units in the league this year. The Clones rank 6th out of 38 teams with just 50 goals allowed this year. That unit will be tested this weekend as St. Louis is a top 10 offense averaging 4.4 per game. If Wausau can hold St. Louis to 3 goals or less the probability of good results will be significant this weekend.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is projected to split time between Brady Faille and Tanner Bonjernoor in net this weekend. Faille has a 2.63 GAA in eight games. Bonjernoor has a 4.23 GAA in seven games with a .856 save percentage.
