(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones take on the Peoria Mustangs at Marathon Park this Friday and Saturday night at 7:10pm. Peoria comes into the weekend series with a (3-3-1-0) record in the early going after having won a pair of games versus New Ulm. After a sweep of St. Louis last weekend the Cyclones record sits at (5-3-0-0).

What to Watch For

Watch for Cyclones forward Pavel Bakhtin to keep his current hot streak alive. Bakhtin has five points in his last five games after going scoreless in the first three games of the season. He also earned the Top Play of the week across of NA3HL with his goal late versus St. Louis last Friday.

The Mustangs are led by forward Ethan Chesney who has eight goals in eight games played.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to split the series between Zach Dosan, native of Rosemount, Minnesota and Mitch Miscevich from Niles, Illinois.

The Mustangs are expected to start a combination of TJ DeMeulenaere and Joe Ambroffi in net this weekend. The goaltenders have a combined .886 save percentage and GAA of 2.85.
