Weekend Preview October 25-26

(WAUSAU, WI)- Wausau takes on the West Bend Power this weekend in what will be the first match up between the two teams this season. Puck drops at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday from Kettle Moraine Ice Center. The Cyclones remain in 1st place position after sweeping St. Louis. West Bend comes off a 4-1 loss to Rochester last Friday in their lone game of the weekend. Wausau enters the weekend with an 10-1-0-0 record, while West Bend comes into action Friday night 6-4-0-0, which puts them in 4th place in the Central Division.

What to Watch For

Cyclones forward Jake Garrow is off to a scorching hot start to his season. Garrow is tied for 5th in the NA3HL with 12 goals scored and is 10th in assists. Wausau has been the most discipline team in the NA3HL with just 92 penalty minutes through just under 25% of the regular season.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to start Tanner Bonjernoor and Dereck Namlick in net this weekend. Bonjernoor has a 1.86 GAA and .927 save percentage in six games. Namlick sports a 1.33 GAA and .952 save percentage. Wausau has allowed just 19 goals this season, which is the 4th fewest in the NA3HL.
