Weekend Preview vs Tomah and West Bend

(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones hit the road to take on the Wisconsin Woodsmen on Friday and West Bend Power on Saturday. Puck drops at 7:30pm both nights and streams on NAHLTV. Wausau enters the weekend with a 32-10-0-1 record, which puts us tied for first- place in the Central Division. Wisconsin enters the weekend with a 22-17-1-2 record, which puts them in fourth in the Central Division. West Bend enters the weekend with a 31-10-1-2 record, which puts them tied for first- place in the Central Division. The path to clinching the Central Division and home ice advantage throughout the playoffs is simple for Wausau this weekend. Win on Friday night and win on Saturday night and Wausau will clinch the first division title in team history. 

What to Watch For

Wausau forward Connor Dvorak had three goals and one assist against West Bend last weekend. Dvorak now has 25 goals and 40 assists putting him in 1st on the team and 3rd in the league for points. The Cyclones went five for eleven on power plays last weekend against West Bend. They have a 30.96% power play percentage and 74 goals on the power play, which puts them in first in the league in both categories. Wausau will be looking to continue this success to clinch their postseason seed.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to start Collin Lemanski in net Friday and Saturday. Lemanski has a 2.34 GAA and .933 save percentage in 27 games. His record is currently 19-7-0-1 this year and the 19 wins has him at 4th in the league.
