(WAUSAU, WI)- The RiverWolves head to St. Louis for a four game weekend series vs the third place Jr. Blues. Game times are 7pm Thursday, 1pm Friday, 2pm Saturday and 1pm Sunday. All the games can be seen live on HockeyTV.  Wausau is coming off a disappointing weekend sweep by Oregon (6-1 and 7-4).  The RiverWolves are winless in four games vs St. Louis this season, but all those games came before the roster was completely retooled in late January.

What to Watch For

Wausau will be looking for better results on the power play this weekend.  The RiverWolves were 0-6 on the man advantage last weekend vs the Oregon Tradesmen.  The RiverWolves will continue to lean heavy on their January acquisitions. The combination of Pavel Bakhtin, Ethan Cumming, Griffin Lehet, Tommy Raith and Kaidden O’Conner have 20 goals with 13 assists over the last month.

St. Louis currently holds a 15-12-2 record after splitting with Peoria last weekend. The Jr. Blues are led by Joey Solimando and Jared Bratton. Solimando has 12 goals and 11 assists, while Bratton has 10 goals and 13 assists.

Between the Pipes

Dylan Baker, Joseph La Forge, Caleb Sauer are expected to split time in goal this weekend for the RiverWolves. Sauer has a 3-7-1 record with a .894 save percentage. La Forge is 2-11-0 with a .885 save pecentage. The RiverWolves third goaltender Dylan Baker will be seeing action in his 5th game this season.

The Jr. Blues are expected to split time between Owen Carlson and Danny Fraga. Carlson is arguably one the best goaltenders in the NA3HL. He holds a 11-8-2 record and .929 save percentage.
