(Wausau, WI) – The Wausau RiverWolves have selected the captains for the 2020-21 season. Wearing the “C” is forward Kasey Couture and wearing the “A” is forward Hayden Miller.

Couture, a native from Pequot Lakes, MN is one of just five returning players for the RiverWolves. Last year, Couture played all 47 games and lead the team in goals (15) and assists (23).

“Kasey has demonstrated the most leadership on and off the ice, work ethic wise and bringing positivity every single day to the rink,” stated Head Coach Colin Bailey.

Wearing the “A”, Hayden Miller, a native of Abbotstown, PA was acquired in a trade last season with the Elmira Jr. Soaring Eagles and has been paying off since he was acquired.

Miller’s leadership style is leading by example. He works hard in the weight room and each day at practice but is also not afraid to speak up when needed,” stated Bailey.

After a weekend series in Milwaukee the RiverWolves return home on Friday, October 30th as the puck drops at 7:10 pm from the Marathon Park Ice Arena versus Peoria in game one of a two-game series. Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10am via riverwolveshockey.com. Seating is limited.
