Wausau, WI – The Wausau RiverWolves have signed defenseman Sammy Spencer to a 2020-2021 contract. Spencer spent his high school hockey career at Northland Pines High. He notched 11 goals and 25 assists in 68 career games. Last season he split time playing junior hockey in the CPJHL with the Muskola Anglers and Essa Stallions. In his previous to seasons Spencer has netted 21 goals and contributed 34 assists in 73 games. Spencer is a native of Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

“Sammy is going to add skill, leadership and experience to our blue line. We are excited to continue to keep top local talent in Central Wisconsin and to have Sammy play a large role with us this year,” stated Head Coach Colin Bailey.
