(Wausau, WI)- The Wausau Cyclones have announced their initial roster for the 2025-26 season. The roster includes seven Wisconsin natives in defenseman Mario Savino (Hudson), defenseman Aaron Nale (McFarland), defenseman Shaeden Fogelberg (Weston), forward Truman Zerse (Hudson), forward Jackson Schroeder (Stevens Point), forward Maksim Salienko (Stevens Point) and forward Zachary Pagel (Wausau). The roster also features players from six other states including Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, Missouri, Alaska, and North Dakota.
The 2025-26 version of the Cyclones includes 12 players who helped win 33 games last season, which earned them a 2nd place finish in the Central Division. Those included are goalies Brady Faille and Tanner Bonjernoor, who combined earned a 24-10-1-1 between the pipes. Offensively, the Clones return Brady Knutsen (11 goals and 23 assists), Eiji Hofmann (10 goals and 21 assists) and Truman Zerse (7 goals and 16 assists). Highlighting the returning defensemen are Mario Savino (3 goals and 18 assists), Frank Goodman (3 goals and 17 assists) and Davis Polifka (7 goals and 13 assists).
