(Wausau, WI)- The Wausau RiverWolves participated in the 2020 NA3HL Draft today as they build their roster for the 2020-2021 season. Wausau selected forward Ryan Blackburn from Allendale, Michigan with their 1st round pick. Blackburn tallied 13 goals and 26 assists this past season at Hudsonville High. Ryan also received All-State recognition by being a  honorable mention forward in Division 1.

In the 2nd round Wausau selected defenseman Gage Everson from Eveleth, Minnesota. Everson netted 14 goals and 48 assists in 62 games during his high school career.

Wausau finished up the draft selecting forward Cade Schiefelbein from Glendale, Arizona. Schiefelbein joins the RiverWolves after playing for the Lake Tahoe Academy. This past season he registered 5 goals and 5 assists in 20 games.

“It was an exciting day for the future of the RiverWolves as we build the 2020-21 roster. I am looking forward to getting these guys on the ice this fall and bringing the most out their talent,“ stated Head Coach Colin Bailey.
