(WAUSAU, WI)- The RiverWolves host the Rochester Grizzles on Friday night at Marathon Park Ice Arena. Wausau is coming of a three point weekend versus Milwaukee last weekend.  The last match up with Rochester saw Wausau fall by a score of 5-3. Heading into Friday night’s contest, Wausau currently stands in sixth place in the Central Division, while Rochester is 1st in the Central Division.

What to Watch For

RiverWolves defenseman, Blake Neudecker has been playing his best hockey of the 2019-2020 campaign. The St. Louis Park, Minnesota native had three assists last weekend and has five points in his last six games played.

The Rochester Grizzles are led by Joey Fodstad who has 21 goals and 42 total points this season.

In the Crease

Joseph La Forge, native of Kenosha is expected to start in net for the RiverWolves.  He currently holds a 2-8-0-0 record, with a goals against average of 6.24.  His save percentage is at .873. La Forge picked up the win last Saturday versus Milwaukee.

The Grizzles are expected to start Mathias Backstrom in net tonight.  His record for the season is 14-3-0-0 and his save percentage is at .939.  His goals against average is at 1.52 after only giving up one goal in a win against North Iowa Saturday.
