(WAUSAU, WI)- The RiverWolves host the Milwaukee Power in the first game of a home and home series this weekend Friday night at Marathon Park Ice Arena.   Heading into Friday night’s contest Wausau holds a 1-11-1 record, while Milwaukee has a  4-15 record this season.

What to Watch For

Wausau will be playing in their first home game since October 11th. To date Wausau has a 1-1-1 record on the home ice.   Friday’s game marks the start of a stretch that will see the RiverWolves at home for 13 of their next 17 games. Look for the RiverWolves to break out of their recent stretch of bad puck luck as they feed off the energy of their home crowd. Wausau will be without their top point man  in Tanner Eskro as he suffered a AC joint sprain last weekend.

The Power are led by former Wausau RiverWolves forward Garrett Alton who has 14 total points this season in his third season playing in the NA3HL. Nathan Walker and Wesley Knutson have 13 and 12 points respectfully.
