(WAUSAU, WI)- The RiverWolves travel to St. Louis to take on the St. Louis Jr. Blues in the first series between the two teams this season.  Heading into Saturday evening’s contest Wausau holds a 1-5-1 record, while St. Louis sits at 9-2-1 record this season.

What to Watch For

Wausau will be going for their first road win in their fifth road contest as they look to build off the momentum of Friday night’s win versus Coulee Region. Saturday’s game marks the first game of a six-game road trip for the team.

The Jr. Blues are led by Sean Hofstetter, Jacob Wiethaupt, and Joey Solimando who combined have nearly 50 points on the season.  The trio will look to add on to their early season success in the North American 3 Hockey League.

In the Crease

Tyler Klatt, native of Monticello, Minnesota is expected to start in net for the RiverWolves.  He currently holds a 1-4-1 record with a goals against average of 4.89.  His save percentage is at .915. Klatt picked up the win Friday night by stopping 56 of the 58 shots he faced.

The Jr. Blues are expected to have Hartland, Michigan native Brett Tome start in net.  His record for the season is 5-1-1 and his save percentage is at .930.  His goals against average is at 1.78.
