(WAUSAU, WI)- The  RiverWolves hit the road this weekend to  face the Breezy Point North Stars in a two-game weekend series beginning tonight at 7:30pm from the Breezy Point Hockey Center. Last time the two teams met was during the 2018 NA3HL showcase, which saw Breezy Point come out on top by a score of 7-3. Heading into play Friday night Wausau holds a 0-3-1 record.  Meanwhile in the West Division, the North Stars have a 1-4-1 record on the young season.

What to Watch For

After a heartbreaking loss in OT to Willmar last Saturday night look for Wausau to come out with a sense of urgency early in tonight’s contest. Wausau begins a road heavy schedule in the month October tonight with 6 of their 7 games this month away from Marathon Park Ice Arena.

For the North Stars, Jordan Linder and James Curran share the lead for total points with 5 in 6 games.  Linder has scored 3 goals and assisted on 2  He averages .83 poins per a game.

In the Crease

Monticello, Minnesota native, Tyler Klatt is expected to start in net tonight.  He comes in with a 0-3-1 record, a goals against average of 5.90 and a save percentage of .896.

Denver, Colorado  native, Conan Hayton looks to get the nod for the North Stars.  Hayton has a 0-2 record to date. He  holds a goals against average of 4.54 and save percentage of .914
