Wausau, WI – The Wausau RiverWolves of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that Forward Janne Rukamp has committed to play Division 1 (ACHA) college hockey at Iowa State University.

Rukamp, a native of De Pere, Wisconsin has played in 55 games over the past two seasons with the RiverWolves. In those games he has recorded 27 points with 13 goals and 14 assists.

“First of all, I would like to thank all of my Wausau teammates from past and present. I would also to like to thank coaches Tom Murphy, Colin Bailey, Tim Brownell, and Jordan Schmidt for growing me not only as a player, but also as a person. Being able to play for an annually ranked top 5 hockey program, while also being able to pursue a history degree at Iowa State has been a goal of mine for the past two years,” stated Rukamp.
