Wausau, WI-  The Wausau RiverWolves play host to the Peoria Mustangs at Marathon Park Ice Arena tonight at 7:30 p.m. To date Peoria leads the season series two games to one. Wausau split a series November 9th and 10th in Wausau, winning 4-2 and falling 4-0 on the 10th. The last time they met was in Peoria on November 30th. The Mustangs were clicking on all cylinders that night as they went on to win 7-0.

What to Watch For

Look for Peoria’s Jack Radley to be all over the place as he is working on adding to his point streak.  Radley has had at least one point in his last 17 games and has 29 points overall in that span.  Jack leads the Mustangs in points with 36 on the season and is second on the team in goals with 17.

Wausau forward Rollie Carlson had himself quite a series over the weekend against Evansville.  He had five goals and five assists over the three-game series to bring his season total to 10 and 22 respectively.  Carlson leads the RiverWolves in points with 31 and is second in goals.

Between the Pipes

Peoria is expected to start goaltender Jaden Gardner out of Norman, Illinois.  He has a 6-3 record with a .922 save percentage and one shutout.  His goals against average is currently at 2.31.

Wausau is planning to send out Alexandr Gilev, a goaltender out of Krasnoobsk, Russia.  He has started 16 games for the RiverWolves compiling a 5-9-1 record with a 3.71 goals against average.  His save percentage sits at .907.
