Wausau, WI – Heading into the weekend before Thanksgiving the Wausau RiverWolves travel to Willmar Minnesota, the home to Earl B. Olson, the founder of Jennie-O Turkey, to take on the Willmar WarHawks for a two-game series starting tonight at 7:30 p.m. Last weekend the RiverWolves split versus Peoria, with a 4-2 win Friday and 4-0 defeat Saturday.

What to watch for

Mitch Idalski looks to continue his hot streak for the RiverWolves.  This season Idalski currently has ten goals in twelve games played, which leads the RiverWolves in goals.  Last weekend against the Peoria Mustangs, he pocketed a three-point night, two goals and an assist with a plus two rating. Willmar’s Elijah Slagter is hot for the WarHawks as he has five goals and five assists for ten points in 15 games.

Between the Pipes

Krasboobsk, Russia native, Alex Gilev is expected to start for the RiverWolves.  In only seven games, he holds a 3-4 record.  He has an average save percentage of .920 and a goals against average of 3.43.

Either Moritz Ertl or Lucas Ehrlich will start for the WarHawks Friday.  Ertl holds a 0-8 record for the WarHawks, this season he holds a .841 record with a goals against average of 7.33.  Ehrlich holds a 1-8 record with a goal against average of 5.70 and save percentage of .873.
