(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones take on the Wisconsin Woodsmen at Marathon Park and then they hit the road to take on the Oregon Tradesmen this weekend. Puck drops at 7:10pm Friday and 7:30pm in Oregon Saturday night and streams on NAHLTV. Wausau enters the weekend with an 24-6-0-1 record, which puts us in first- place in the Central Division, fourth place Wisconsin Woodsmen enters the weekend with a 13-10-1-2 record and third place Oregon Tradesman enters the weekend with a 18-12-1-0 record. Wausau can clinch a postseason berth as early as Friday night with a win over the Woodsmen.

What to Watch For

Forward Ricky Nelson had quite the weekend against St. Louis scoring four goals and three assists during the weekend. Nelson has 12 goals and 25 assists in 27 games. Nelson’s 37 points ranks 4th on the team. After a weekend that saw the Clones score 13 goals the team now ranks 3rd in the NA3HL in goals scored with 143.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to start Collin Lemanski in net Friday. Lemanski has a 2.16 GAA and .938 save percentage in 19 games. His record is currently 15-3-0-1 this year and the 15 wins leads the league. Tanner Bonjernoor is expected to start Saturday. Bonjernoor has a save percentage of .907 and 2.67 GAA.
