(WAUSAU, WI) – Wausau will host the Wisconsin Woodsmen in what will be the final regular season matchups between the two teams. Wausau enters the weekend 19-14-1-0 (tied 3rd place) and Woodsmen are 12-20-2-1 (5th place). Wausau has the season series lead four games to two. This weekend puck drops at 7:10pm both Friday and Saturday from Marathon Park on NAHLTV.
What to Watch For
Forward Maksim Salienko has had an incredible start to 2026. In just six games he has one goal and five assists. His previous six games he had contributed just one assist. After his hot streak the 6’0″ forward from Stevens Point in now just two points from becoming a top five point man on the team.
Between the Pipes
Wausau is projected to split time between Brady Faille and Tanner Bonjernoor in net this weekend. Faille has a 2.47 GAA in 17 games. Bonjernoor has a 3.53 GAA in 14 games with a .895 save percentage.
