(Wausau, WI)- The Wausau RiverWolves took on the Breezy Point North Stars at Marathon Park Ice Arena.  This was the game two of the weekend series, with Breezy Point taking game one with a score of 7-2.

The Wausau RiverWolves scoring was started with Matt Irwin who scored at the 17:35 mark of the first period, next scoring right away in the second period was Connor Moore who was able to get a goal just 31 seconds into the second.  3 more goals were netted in the second period, these goals came from Matt Irwin, Jacob Rudloff and Owen Routheut.  Matt Irwin was able to complete his hat-trick on an empty net goal at the 19:44 mark of the third period to close out the game.  Starting in net for the Wausau RiverWolves was Hudson, Wisconsin native Henry Baribeau who stopped 52 shots and was able to tally a win giving Henry his fourth win on the season.

The Wausau RiverWolves will be back in action at home on Wednesday, January 17 for a 7 p.m. puck drop against the Rochester Ice Hawks!
