Wausau, WI – The Cyclones have signed forward Max Toijala to a 2021-2022 tender agreement. Toijala spent his high school hockey career at Lakeland High where he notched 90 goals and 81 assists in 77 career games. Last season, Toijala earned 1st Team All-State recognition as voted on by the Wisconsin Hockey Coaches Association. Toijala is a native of Minocqua, Wisconsin.

“I am very excited to have Max remain in Central Wisconsin and join our program. He brings a great skill set and work ethic, which we expect to make an immediate impact,” stated Head Coach Colin Bailey.

Wausau, WI – The Cyclones have signed forward Sam Techel to a 2021-2022 tender agreement. Techel spent his high school hockey career at Wausau West. He notched 46 goals and 42 assists in 90 career games. Last season, Techel played junior hockey in the NCDC with the Utica Jr. Comets. Techel is a native of Wausau, Wisconsin.

“Sam is going to add skill, leadership and junior hockey experience to our roster. We are focused on keeping top local talent in Central Wisconsin and having Sam will certainly fit into that category,” stated Head Coach Colin Bailey.

Wausau, WI – The Wausau RiverWolves have signed forward Max Beste to a 2020-2021 tender agreement. Beste was a member of the Mosinee Indians during his high school hockey career.

This past season Beste tallied 15 goals and 23 assists in 23 games. He helped lead Mosinee to the D2 Sectional Final this past season, where they fell just short of a WIAA State Hockey Tournament Appearance. During his high school career Beste totaled 48 goals and 68 assists in 89 games played. Beste  also received All-Conference honorable mention recognition this season in the Great Northern Conference.

“I am looking forward to having a player like Max this fall. He has a natural ability to find the back of the net and should transition seamlessly to junior hockey,” stated Head Coach Colin Bailey.

Wausau, WI – The Wausau RiverWolves have signed forward Liam Golden to a 2020-2021 tender agreement. Golden comes to Central Wisconsin with junior hockey experience after splitting time last season with the Rochester Vipers and Minnesota Mullets in the USPHL. He spent his high school career playing for the Ashwaubenon Co-op.

This past season Golden tallied 9 goals and 7 assists in 40 games.  During his high school career Golden totaled 33 goals and 26 assists in 60 games played. Golden received All-Conference honorable mention recognition his Sophomore and Junior year in the FRCC. During his Senior campaign he received first team honors.

“We are extremely excited to sign Liam. He has been a player on our radar for some time. His skill and junior hockey experience is going to be a very welcomed addition to the lineup, which we expect to make a large impact,” stated Head Coach Colin Bailey.

Wausau, WI – The Wausau RiverWolves have signed forward Chris Consolazio to a 2020-2021 tender agreement. Consolazio was a member of the Fernie Academy Fury U18 program this past season in the NAPHL.

Consolazio is a native of Hawthorne, California. In eight games with the NAPHL program his past season he registered 2 goals and 3 assists.

“I’m looking forward to having Chris join us this fall as he continues to develop his game,” stated Head Coach Colin Bailey.

Wausau, WI – The Wausau RiverWolves have signed goaltender Dylan Baker  to a 2020-2021 tender agreement. Baker was a member of the Fernie Academy Fury U18 program this past season in the NAPHL.

Baker is a native of Fernie, British Columbia, Canada. The 6′ 5″ 187 pound netminder had a 2.50 goals against average and 86.5 save percentage last season.

“It’s great to have player with Dylan’s big frame and experience from  being in the NAPHL (North American Prospects Hockey League),” stated Head Coach Colin Bailey.

Wausau, WI – The Wausau RiverWolves have signed forward Isaac Wickersheim  to a 2020-2021 tender agreement. Wickersheim was a member of the Antigo Red Robins during his high school hockey career.

This past season Wickersheim tallied 14 goals and 13 assists in 25 games. During his high school career with the Red Robins Wickerskeim totaled 51 goals and 42 assists in 101 games played. Wickersheim received All-State honorable mention recognition as voted on by the Wisconsin Hockey Coaches Association during the 2018-2019 season.

“I am very excited to have Issac remain in Central Wisconsin and join our program. He brings a great skill set and work ethic, which we expect to make an immediate impact,” stated Head Coach Colin Bailey.
