(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones and Peoria Mustangs will match-up this weekend as Wausau looks to build upon their better play in January. Wausau went 6-2 in the month of January and were 3-1 on the home ice. The Clones will get to enjoy the friendly confines of Marathon Park for all eight of their games in February. Wausau is currently in 5th place in the Central Division with at 13-21-3-0 record. Peoria enters the weekend in 4th with a 20-15-1-1 record after being swept by Rochester on their home ice.

What to Watch For

After a sweep of St. Louis the Cyclones have now won 7 of their last 9 games. Cyclones forward Ricky Nelson continues to his remarkable play since returning from the holiday break. During those ten games Nelson has eight goals and eight assists. Nelson now leads the team in total points with 37.

The Mustangs are led by forward Ethan Chesney. Chesney has 24 goals and 29 assists in 37 games. The three-year NA3HL player has playing in 112 NA3HL games.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to split the series between Collin Lemanski and Ryan Burke. Lemanski currently has a 3.00 GAA and .912 save percentage. Burke enters the weekend with a 3.21 GAA and .915 save percentage.

The Mustangs are expected to start Cam Pendleton. Pendleton has a .909 save percentage.
