(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones and St. Louis Jr. Blues will match-up for the final time during the 2022-23 regular season Friday and Saturday night at Marathon Park. Wausau currently leads the season series 4-2. Wausau is currently in 5th place in the Central Division with at 11-21-3-0 record. St. Louis enters the weekend in 6th with an 8-26-0-0 record after splitting a series with New Ulm.

What to Watch For

After another win over Oregon last weekend the Cyclones have now won 5 of their last 7 games. Cyclones forward Ricky Nelson has been a huge element of that success. During those seven games Nelson had six goals and four assists, which helped earn him honors as a NA3HL Top Prospect.

The Jr. Blues are led by forward Jacob Heuerman. Heuerman has 13 goals and 8 assists in 32 games.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to split the series between Collin Lemanski and Ryan Burke. Lemanski currently has a 4.32 GAA and .922 save percentage. Burke enters the weekend with a 3.38 GAA and .913 save percentage.

The Jr. Blues are expected to start Ian Zeumer and Jordan Behnen. Zeumer has a .855 save percentage and Behnen sports a .888.
