(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones and Peoria Mustangs will match-up in a division series this Friday and Saturday night at the Owens Center. Wausau is coming off a series split versus Oregon, while Peoria enters the weekend flying high after sweeping first place Rochester on the road. Wausau is currently in 5th place in the Central Division with a 7-19-3-0 record. Peoria has a 19-9-0-1 record, which is good for 3rd place in the Central Division.

What to Watch For

Cyclones forward Ricky Nelson could take over the team lead this weekend as the top point producer. After a three-point weekend versus Oregon he is just two points behind Gage Vierzba.

The Mustangs are led by forward Ethan Chesney who has 20 goals and 28 assists in 29 games. Chesney is in his 3rd season playing in the NA3HL.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to split the series between Mitch Miscevich and Ryan Burke. Miscevich currently has a 3.85 GAA and .894 save percentage in 16 games. The Cyclones tendy bounced back from a season high six goals allowed last Thursday to allow just two goals Friday and earn his first win since November 26th. Burke enters the weekend with a 3.60 GAA and .906 save percentage in 10 games.

The Mustangs are expected to start Joseph Ambroffi and Cam Pendleton. The two goalies have a combined 2.38 GAA and .925 save percentage.
