(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones take on the Milwaukee Power Friday and Saturday night as they look to build on a home opening weekend sweep of St. Louis. Puck drops at 7:10pm on Friday and Saturday night and can be watched on HockeyTV. Friday night is Military Appreciation presented by Eye Clinic of Wisconsin. All Veterans and current service members receive free admission. Saturday night is Pink the Rink presented by Dovorany Orthodontics. The Cyclones will be wearing specialty pink game jerseys with the proceeds benefiting the Aspirus Health Breast Health Assistance Fund. Wausau enters the weekend with a 4-3-1-0 record. Milwaukee is 5-5-1-1 and currently leads the season series 2-0.

What to Watch For

Watch for a pair of low scoring games this weekend. Three weeks ago, when these teams faced off just seven goals were scored between the two teams. Look for forward Hayden Shoemake to continue his dominance of Milwaukee. Shoemake had five goals and four assists last season versus the Power including the GWG that clinched a playoff berth.

The Power are led by forward Patrick Toomey. Tommey has five goals and six assists in 12 games.

Between the Pipes

Wausau is expected to split the series between Mitch Miscevich and Ryan Burke. Miscevich picked up the win in an outstanding performance at the home opener last Friday. He currently has a 3.75 GAA and .882 save percentage. Burke enters the weekend with a 2.47 GAA and .922 save percentage.

The Power are expected to split the weekend between Connor Carroll and Adam Prokop. Carroll sports a 4.29 GAA and .916 save percentage. Prokop enters the weekend with a 3.47 GAA and .913 save percentage.
