(WAUSAU, WI)- The Cyclones face Milwaukee in a pivotal three-game weekend series, which holds significant postseason implications for both clubs. Wausau will visit Mequon on Friday night and the Cyclones will host Milwaukee Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. The season series between the two teams is led by Wausau at three games to two.

Playoff Scenario

After being swept by Rochester and Milwaukee earning 2 of 4 points versus Alexandria the Cyclones hold an 8-point lead in the standings with 7 games to play. Best case scenario for the Cyclones is to win both games on Friday and Saturday night, which will clinch the Cyclones spot in the NA3HL postseason. Wausau can still clinch a postseason berth by splitting the first two games of the weekend and winning the 3:10pm game on Sunday.

Between the Pipes

Wausau plans to split the series between Zach Dosan, native of Rosemount, Minnesota and Mitch Miscevich from Niles, Illinois. Dosan comes into the weekend with a (8-11-1-0) record and a .920 save percentage, meanwhile Miscevich holds a (8-9-0-1) record and .908 save percentage.

Milwaukee is expected to have Spencer Northway and Kaden Grant in net during the series. Northway comes into the weekend with a (9-12-1-1) record and a .916 save percentage. Grant is (1-2-0-0) and has a .912.
