Wausau, WI – The Wausau Cyclones have made the following player transactions. Forward Hayden Shoemake was traded to the Oregon Tradesmen. Goalie Mitch Miscevich has been traded to the Alexandria Blizzard. The final move sent forwards Gage Vierzba and Zac Maupin to the Texas Brahmas.
” The Wausau Cyclones would like to thank Gage Vierzba, Zac Maupin, Mitch Miscevich and Hayden Shoemake for their loyalty, hard work and dedication not only to the hockey team, but to their teammates, the fans and the community. It’s never easy making trades, especially when you are trading such outstanding human beings. All four players have been tremendous players and leaders for multiple years, and we will miss them. We don’t ever take trades lightly and the last week has been hard. But as an organization we feel as though we have gained important assets for the future, to not only help our team on the ice but to continue giving our players the tools, knowledge and support off of it. We also felt it necessary to give all four of these players the opportunity to gain invaluable experiences while trying to finish their junior careers as champions. We want to again thank all four players for their countless contributions on and off the ice and look forward to watching them play in the years to come,” stated Head Coach & General Manager of Hockey Operations Nathan Oystrick.
